Upon graduating from UCLA in 1979, Dan joined father James, the founder of Torrance based Post Insurance Services in 1980, followed five years later by brother John in 1985.

Starting his career as an agent in the Personal Lines department, Dan worked with clients on insurance solutions for their homes and autos, then made the transition to Commercial Insurance for the agency’s business clients. He continued his insurance education, attaining his Certified Insurance Counselors degree in 1983, and over time he began to specialize in certain areas of insurance, with construction being his area of expertise.

Today he is the President of Post Insurance, committed to his clients, his staff, and his agency with an expanded expertise in all areas of the insurance business, and he continues to build relationships that help contribute to the growth of this agency.

Married to Hillary for 33 years, he has now welcomed Ben and Will, two of his three sons into the agency. He is also active in community service, and has held Board positions with the Peninsula Education Foundation, the Torrance South Bay YMCA, Peninsula Heritage School and Rolling Hills Little League.
